Ting Ting is an International Educator in Meditation and Movement. Having been graced with the practice of yoga at an early age, she found herself immersed deeply in its methodology and facilitating YTT's (Yoga Teacher Trainings) in her most recent years.
Well-educated in the field of yogic philosophy and its science, she continued her thirst of knowledge in the world of spirituality by diving into the energetics and practices of Qi Gong. She continues to be humbled by the never ending depths in the ocean of awareness and richness of life. She passionate about guiding Souls back into the remembrance of their own inner beauty and power of what imagination can create.
LINEAGE & METHOD
Traditionally, my lineage is Tantric Hatha Vinyasa, in the context of the Sri Vidya tradition of India, one of the oldest schools of Tantra. Sri Vidya can be defined as the "knowledge of that which is most beautiful” or "the science of being”
WHAT IS THE PRACTICE OF TANTRA?
I have noticed that when this topic comes up, the word and its meaning-commonly gets navigated toward a way to embody feminine and masculine pleasure and sexuality.
This is a very tiny portion in the totality of Tantra and to define its meaning into just the practice of sensual pleasure, is not acknowledging the beauty in the teachings and practice of honoring the much more profound depths we can achieve through our senses.
The techniques of traditional Tantra are about how to deeply experience the world through the pristine and acute cleansing of the sensory system. It is past what we can physically see, touch, taste, hear, smell, but it is feeling the vibratory experience of it all- we are the universe experiencing itself through our sensory system and understanding the message carried within the vibration, is where the Truth lies behind all experience.
How we perceive the world is also how we live in it.
In a world largely fixated in the shallow realms of pleasure, appearance, comfort, and convenience- I find the fathomless meaning of Truth through the practice of mindful observation, emotional inquiry, and recalibration of the senses.
